Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero's next DLC now has a date. Super Limit-Breaking Neo launches July 30, 2026, adding a new solo mode called Limit Breaker Journey alongside new playable fighters, destructible stages and free update features.

The official announcement says Limit Breaker Journey lets players pick a character, move across an interactive map and build that fighter through battles and events. The mode uses EXP, SP and Battle Arts, with SP spent on abilities and stats while Battle Arts add special effects such as temporary ki attack boosts or stronger attacks in Sparking mode.

Players can keep repeating runs with the same character to train them further. Once a fighter has been developed, that version can be used in player matches and offline battles.

Super Limit-Breaking Neo is also expanding the roster. The post says the DLC includes around 30 new playable characters, with Mercenary Tao and Grandpa Gohan shown as part of the latest preview. Bandai Namco's DLC page lists several additions, including Demon King Piccolo, Bardock Super Saiyan, Zangya, Pikkon, Super 17, Champa, Supreme Kai, Jaco and GT versions of Vegeta and Trunks.

The DLC adds four stages: Kami's Palace, Kame House, Bitter Tundra and Stratosphere, with Earth and Planet Vegeta variants for Stratosphere. Stage destruction remains part of the pitch, including Kami's Palace being broken down to the ground.

Free updates are arriving with features called Sparking Boost and Chain Blast, though the announcement keeps its focus on the paid DLC content. Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero launched in 2024 as the first new Budokai Tenkaichi-style entry in 17 years, and its day-one roster of more than 180 characters has since grown past 200.

The July 30 date gives Sparking Zero players a larger DLC drop after months of roster expansion. It also lands during a busy stretch for Dragon Ball games, with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 also set to be playable at Gamescom 2026.
