A new Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 report claims the sequel will introduce Time Gods of Destruction, a new divine group that would fit directly into the series' timeline-protection premise.
The claim comes from DBSHype, citing information from EmperorBigD, and says the Time Gods of Destruction destroy timelines that fail to preserve the balance of the space-time continuum. The post does not name the characters or show them, and Bandai Namco has not announced them.
That caveat is important, but the idea lines up cleanly with the ground Bandai Namco has already set for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3. The publisher's official page describes the game as a new Dragon Ball future set in Age 1000, with players exploring West City, joining the Great Saiya Squad and uncovering new stories in a future version of the Dragon Ball world.
Dragon Ball has already built a hierarchy around Gods of Destruction, angels and cosmic balance, while Xenoverse has long focused on altered timelines and the Time Patrol. A group tied specifically to destroying broken timelines would connect those two sides of the franchise, though the details remain unconfirmed until Bandai Namco shows more of the story.
The sequel is planned for 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with Dimps back as developer. Bandai Namco recently used a Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 trailer to show West City and newer combat systems, but it has not narrowed the release window beyond 2027.
