A new Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves leak is putting names to some of Gen 10's rumored regional evolutions, while also giving Eevee fans a reason to brace themselves. According to Centro LEAKS on X, Onix, Houndour, Zweilous and Salandit are all planned to receive brand-new regional evolutions, but there does not appear to be a new Eevee evolution in the current build.

That last detail is the one likely to sting. Eevee has not received a new evolution since Sylveon debuted in Pokémon X and Y, and every new generation revives hopes that another type will finally join the lineup. Centro's post also says there is no Tropius evolution in the current build, so the leak is not only naming Pokémon that may get new forms.

The claim remains unconfirmed. Nintendo, The Pokémon Company and Game Freak have not announced these evolutions, and Centro attributes the information to kurwashibamaste, the same source tied to recent Winds and Waves leak chatter. The latest post follows a broader claim that Gen 10 could include around 300 new Pokémon or forms, which would make regional evolutions a much larger part of the game's identity if the number is accurate.

The leak also mentions traversal and shiny hunting

The regional evolution list is only part of the new post. Centro also claims Pokémon Winds and Waves will include an underwater point of interest called Neon Abyss, described as a Glimwood Tangle-style coral reef, plus areas of the world that can only be reached by flying.

Those details line up neatly with the official pitch for Pokémon Winds and Waves, even if they are not confirmed features. The official site describes the Switch 2 games as open-world entries set across windswept islands and a vast ocean, with players teaming up with Pokémon to overcome nature itself. A coral reef location and flying-only areas would fit that island-and-ocean structure without proving the leak is real.

Shiny hunters may have another detail to watch. The post says shiny Pokémon will appear in the overworld and that the shiny sound will return, a setup familiar from Pokémon Legends: Arceus and Pokémon Legends: Z-A. If true, that would keep one of the series' most player-friendly modern hunting touches in place for the next mainline generation.

Centro also says both box Legendaries will appear in both versions and have a story role similar to Pokémon Black and White. Gamers Now recently covered a separate rumor that Winds and Waves' Legendaries could receive new forms, so the mascots have become a recurring thread in the current leak cycle.

For now, the confirmed information is much narrower. Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves are coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch 2 in a simultaneous worldwide release in 2027, with Browt, Pombon and Gecqua already revealed as the first partner Pokémon. Everything beyond that, including the alleged Eevee snub and regional evolutions, should be treated as leak material until The Pokémon Company shows more.
