A new Pokémon Winds and Waves leak is claiming that seven unannounced Gen 10 Pokémon have been teased through riddle-style images, giving fans another set of possible creature designs to pick apart long before launch.
The leak surfaced through Centro Leaks, which described the post as the return of “riddle season” for new Gen 10 Pokémon. The images were attributed by the report to Billy, a known Pokémon leaker, but none of the designs have been confirmed by Nintendo, Game Freak or The Pokémon Company.
That caveat is important because the leak does not appear to show finished Pokémon models or names. Instead, it reportedly points to animal inspirations and themes, leaving fans to infer types, roles and possible regional ideas from the clues.
The rumored Gen 10 designs
According to the leak, the seven possible new Pokémon include a bird with pirate-like elements, a kangaroo tied to the Vogelkop tree kangaroo and boxing imagery, a Komodo dragon that may spit fire, a long-beaked echidna with sniper-like clues, a tapir connected to a Thai Buddha statue, a rabbit tied to the moon and a knobbed hornbill tied to the sun.
The Komodo dragon rumor is one of the more interesting pieces because it overlaps with earlier chatter about Gen 10, while also reportedly being separate from Gecqua. If accurate, that would mean the Water-type starter's evolution line may not be the Komodo-inspired design some fans expected after recent starter-type rumors.
The kangaroo and hornbill clues also fit the kind of regional speculation Pokémon fans have been tracking since Winds and Waves was revealed. Pokémon Database's public summary lists the games for a worldwide 2027 release on Switch 2 and describes a new island region with windswept islands, ocean exploration and three confirmed starters: Browt, Pombon and Gecqua.
Another leak in a crowded Gen 10 rumor cycle
Official information on Pokémon Winds and Waves remains limited. The Pokémon Company has confirmed the titles, the 2027 release window, Switch 2 exclusivity and the starter trio, but most details about the Pokédex, battle systems and region are still under wraps.
That gap has made Gen 10 a steady target for leaks. Recent rumors have already claimed details about Garuda and Naga-inspired box Legendaries, possible final starter typings and a September 2027 launch target. Those claims remain unofficial, but together they show how quickly the community is trying to assemble a picture of the next mainline Pokémon generation from scattered clues.
Treat this latest leak as a list of possible inspirations, not a reveal of seven finalized Pokémon. If the riddles are genuine, they may still change before release or describe ideas that look very different in the finished games. Until Game Freak shows more of Pokémon Winds and Waves, the only confirmed new Pokémon are still Browt, Pombon and Gecqua.
