Invincible VS is giving its first season a bigger shape than one character reveal. Universa and The Immortal join the 3v3 tag fighter on June 30, the same day Season 1 begins with Endless Arcade and new cosmetic releases.
Quarter Up, Skybound's in-house studio, confirmed the update in an official post that also sketches out the rest of the game's 2026 roadmap. Season 2 is planned for October with another fighter, a new game mode and more cosmetics. Season 3 follows in December with one more fighter, a new arena and additional cosmetics.
The new details build on the earlier Universa reveal. Gamers Now previously covered how Universa joins Invincible VS when Season 1 starts, but this update gives The Immortal the same date and adds the first outline of what comes after June 30.
Universa is described as a technical fighter who manages momentum through her Boost Meter. She can siphon Boost energy from opponents, use Max Boost Specials and absorb incoming projectiles with her "Entropy" super to convert them into Boost gauge. The post positions her as a character for players willing to manage resources while looking for a big payoff.
The Immortal is a more direct pressure character. Quarter Up describes him as an aggressive Striker who can close distance, attack from multiple angles and use an Install Super to improve speed and combo potential. His standout mechanic is a once-per-match Revive that brings him back in a berserk state.
Players attending Evo Las Vegas from June 26 to June 28 will be able to try both characters before launch at Quarter Up's booth. Invincible VS is also listed as an official Evo tournament partner, with the event's first-place winner set to receive a life-sized Conquest Gauntlet trophy.
Invincible VS is available now for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Xbox Cloud as an Xbox Play Anywhere title. Season 1 arrives June 30, with the next two seasons currently set for October and December.
