Ubisoft has confirmed the console graphics modes for *Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced*, giving PS5, PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X players 60 FPS performance options when the remake launches on July 9.

The official console specs post is brief, but its table fills in an important launch detail for console players. Xbox Series S is listed with a 30 FPS fidelity mode at 1620p upscaled, while Xbox Series X gets performance, fidelity and balanced choices. PS5 and PS5 Pro also get three modes each.

Black Flag Resynced console modes

On PS5, Ubisoft lists a 2160p upscaled resolution across performance, fidelity and balanced modes. Performance targets 60 FPS, fidelity targets 30 FPS and balanced targets 40 FPS with a 120 Hz display. Ray tracing is marked as standard in performance mode and extended in the other two modes.

PS5 Pro uses 2160p upscaled resolution with enhanced PSSR. Its performance, fidelity and balanced modes target the same 60 FPS, 30 FPS and 40 FPS figures respectively, with extended ray tracing listed across the board. Ubisoft has already detailed the remake's PS5 Pro ray tracing and PSSR upgrades, including ray-traced specular reflections in every graphics mode on Sony's upgraded console.

Xbox Series X is closer to the base PS5 layout. It gets a 60 FPS performance mode with standard ray tracing, plus 30 FPS fidelity and 40 FPS balanced modes at 2160p upscaled with extended ray tracing. Xbox Series S has a single 30 FPS fidelity mode at 1620p upscaled with standard ray tracing.

Ubisoft defines standard ray tracing as global illumination for diffuse lighting throughout the game world. Extended ray tracing adds support for reflective surfaces as well as global illumination. The balanced mode requires a compatible 120 Hz display and HDMI 2.1 cable.

The console breakdown follows earlier *Black Flag Resynced* updates on the remake's new missions and hideout systems, naval gameplay changes and broader PC requirements. Ubisoft's April overview says the game is a full recreation of *Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag* on the latest version of the Anvil engine, with rebuilt visuals, new content, a reworked Kenway's Fleet and updated combat, stealth, parkour and naval systems.

*Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced* launches July 9 for PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The PC version will be available through the Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store and Steam, with GeForce NOW and Blacknut also listed in Ubisoft's broader launch overview.
