Rayman Legends Retold will be playable at gamescom 2026, giving visitors in Cologne a 20-minute hands-on look at Ubisoft's reworked platformer before its October launch.
Ubisoft says its Rayman booth will feature the game's first level, a dragon ride and one of its musical levels. The setup will also include 15 two-player couch co-op stations and a large inflatable Rayman at the booth.
Retold is not being pitched as a simple resolution upgrade of the 2013 game. Ubisoft has described it as a rebuilt version with 3D visuals, a new story, fully voiced cinematics and expanded content, details that were part of the earlier multiplatform Rayman Legends Retold launch plans.
Ubisoft is also bringing back its Community Lounge for the show. The schedule includes developer panels for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced and Assassin's Creed Shadows, a Rainbow Six Siege Community Checkpoint broadcast, an Anno 117: Pax Romana DLC and content announcement, The Division 2 roadmap news and Rayman anniversary programming with new reveals.
The Ubisoft booth will be open from August 27 to August 30 in Hall 6.1, Booth CO11 B010. Daily panel and talk schedules will be shown on-site, while selected sessions will stream from August 26 to August 29 on Ubisoft's Twitch and YouTube channels.
This is the first public hands-on stop named in Ubisoft's current gamescom plans for Rayman Legends Retold. Viewers who are not in Cologne will still get selected streamed sessions, including Ubisoft's planned updates for Anno 117 and The Division 2.
