GTA Online's first Featured Community Mission is live, giving PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Enhanced) players a curated community-made job with boosted rewards through May 6.
Rockstar says the mission is Old School Hits, a GTA Series Videos creation that sends players after three high-profile targets in a nod to the original Grand Theft Auto trilogy. Rockstar is offering 4X GTA$ and RP for playing it this week, and completing the mission also clears the Weekly Challenge for an extra GTA$100,000.
Old School Hits starts the Community Mission Series
Players can start Old School Hits from the corona at Legion Square. It is the first entry in Rockstar's Community Mission Series, a new spotlight for player-created experiences made with the Rockstar Mission Creator.
The mission follows shortly after Rockstar opened GTA Online's Mission Creator with the Community Mission Series, which lets players build custom narrative jobs across Los Santos and Blaine County. Rockstar says the next featured community event in May will put the Race Series in the spotlight, with more Mission Series picks planned after that.
This week's GTA Online event also leans into assassination work elsewhere. Bail Office owners can earn 2X GTA$ and RP on Madrazo Hits, with GTA+ members able to stack that to 4X, while Payphone Hits are paying out 3X GTA$ and RP.
Open Wheel Races and the Down Chiliad Time Trial are also paying 3X GTA$ and RP. Vehicle Workshops and the Luxury Autos window display now carry the Big Minimus Energy livery for the Annis Minimus.
Rockstar also has a slate of 30% discounts running this week, including the Progen PR4, Benefactor BR8, Declasse DR1, Pegassi Osiris, Obey Omnis e-GT, Dinka RT3000, Vapid Dominator FX, Dewbauchee Vagner, Invetero Coquette D1, Pfister Comet SR, Grotti Turismo Classic and MTL Wastelander.
