Rockstar is lining up a GTA Online economy pass for next week, with higher base payouts for several older mission types, price cuts for more than 30 vehicles and one notable price increase for the Mammoth F-160 Raiju fighter jet.
The changes were announced inside Rockstar's latest GTA Online event post, which first focuses on this week's Nightclub bonuses. From now through May 13, owned Nightclubs are paying 2X GTA$ in Daily Income, while Nightclub Warehouse Stock Production Speed is doubled.
Nightclub owners can also earn 2X GTA$, RP and Nightclub Goods from Business Battles and Yohan's Nightclub Goods Missions. Nightclub Management Missions are paying 2X GTA$, RP and Popularity, with a weekly challenge asking players to complete three of those missions for GTA$100,000 and the Cherenkov Tee.
Bigger mission rewards are coming next week
The more lasting change arrives after this event week. Rockstar says it will double base payouts for Special Vehicle Work, Mobile Operations Missions, Casino Work and Casino Story Missions starting next week.
All Bail Office Targets, A Superyacht Life and Project Overthrow Missions will also receive a 50% payout boost. That matters most for players cycling through older contact-style work, where time investment can feel out of step with newer money-making options in Los Santos.
Rockstar is also changing vehicle prices. More than 30 vehicles will become cheaper, including the Överflöd Imorgon sports car, the Progen Tyrus supercar and the Brute Police Riot. The Mammoth F-160 Raiju is going the other way, with Rockstar saying its price will rise to better reflect the jet's utility and performance.
The same post says Rockstar will keep limiting vehicle resale values for players who abuse resale exploits.
This week's event leans into Nightclubs
Alongside the economy preview, this week's GTA Online bonuses are centered on Nightclub ownership. Players who still need a club can get 40% off any Nightclub property, plus all Nightclub upgrades and modifications, through Maze Bank Foreclosures.
Terrorbyte Client Jobs are paying 2X GTA$ and RP for the week. Deadline, including Deadline Duet, is also paying 2X GTA$ and RP as part of the Featured Series through May 13.
The Community Mission Series is offering 3X GTA$ and RP on Old School Hits by GTA Series Videos. The mission, inspired by the original Grand Theft Auto trilogy, was the first pick in Rockstar's official Community Mission Series rollout.
Rockstar ends the update with a smaller forward look, saying GTA Online still has special events, celebrations and a new summer update ahead. No details for that summer update were announced in this post, so the concrete changes to watch first are next week's payout boosts and vehicle price adjustments.
