The Division Resurgence is now available to play for free on PC through Ubisoft Connect, as outlined in a Ubisoft News post, giving the mobile-focused Division spin-off a desktop option alongside iOS and Android.

Players can download the game from the Ubisoft Connect launcher using an existing Ubisoft Connect account or by creating a new one. The PC version first downloads a launcher, which then prompts players to continue downloading the rest of the game files.

Cross-play carries the mobile version onto PC

Ubisoft says The Division Resurgence is fully cross-play across PC and mobile. Using the same Ubisoft Connect account lets players continue their progression from any supported device, so a session started on PC can carry back to iOS or Android.

The same cross-play support also applies to squads, with one important limitation: players need to be on the same regional server to play together.

On PC, the game supports mouse and keyboard as well as controllers. Ubisoft also says the PC version is around 17GB, though it recommends having at least 30GB free to help the game run smoothly.

The announcement gives Resurgence a wider reach after its mobile launch, especially for players who prefer The Division's cover-shooter rhythm on a monitor with traditional PC inputs. It also makes the PC version less of a separate restart and more of another way into the same account-driven progression.

Players who run into bugs, account problems or other issues can contact Ubisoft Player Support through the support icon inside the game, which sends the support team relevant game and account information with the request.
