Wuthering Waves is finally putting names and a release window on its Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover. Kuro Games' open-world action RPG will bring the anime collaboration to the game in June 2026, with Lucy and Rebecca joining the playable roster as 5-Star Resonators, according to Game Rant's report on the reveal.
The biggest player-facing detail is Rebecca. She will be available as a free-to-claim 5-Star Resonator during the crossover, while Lucy has also been confirmed as playable. Kuro Games has not yet confirmed either character's Element, weapon type or exact banner setup.
Lucy and Rebecca are crossing into Solaris-3
The crossover was first announced in April 2025, when Kuro Games said characters from Night City would step into Solaris. The new trailer shows Lucy and Rebecca alongside Rover, Lucilla and other Wuthering Waves characters in Lahai-Roi, shifting the collaboration from a long-running promise into a dated update for players waiting on the event.
Rebecca is shown leaning into the heavy-firepower style fans would expect from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, while Lucy uses her Monowire in combat. The setup also gives the crossover a story hook: Lucy and Rebecca have entered Solaris-3 as Edgerunners and can return home after completing their mission.
David Martinez is not confirmed as playable, but the trailer does briefly show him from behind near the end. Other coverage of the reveal, including Dexerto and GosuGamers, also notes the David tease, which makes his story role one of the bigger unanswered details heading into June.
The timing lands soon after Wuthering Waves Version 3.3, which arrived on April 29. If Kuro Games keeps to the game's usual update rhythm, the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners event should line up with Version 3.4, though the studio has not announced the exact event start date or banner duration.
It is another notable step in a busy year for Wuthering Waves. The game recently climbed on Steam after its Version 3.3 anniversary update, and an Xbox release with Game Pass rewards is also planned for July 2026. The Edgerunners crossover gives the live-service RPG a major anime tie-in before that platform expansion arrives.
