Star Wars: Galactic Racer now has a firm launch date. Secret Mode and Fuse Games will release the Star Wars racing adventure on October 6, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with pre-orders open now across Standard, Deluxe and Collector’s Editions.
The date turns Galactic Racer from a 2026 window into a specific fall release, and it gives Star Wars fans a clearer idea of what they are buying into. The game is set after the fall of the Empire, when the New Republic is rebuilding and an underground circuit called the Galactic League is pulling pilots into dangerous races across the Outer Rim.
Standard pricing starts at $59.99/£49.99/€59.99. The Deluxe Edition is priced at $79.99/£64.99/€79.99 and includes three bonus vehicles, the Kor Sarun: Darc X landspeeder, Kor Sarun: Ciza T speeder bike and Kor Sarun: Rak S skim speeder. It also includes three Deluxe Arcade events, a Deluxe Livery Pack, a Deluxe Player Banner Pack and a Digital Art Book. Secret Mode says a Deluxe Edition Upgrade will be available at launch.
A physical Collector’s Edition is also planned for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC at $159.99/£139.99/€159.99. That version includes a physical Kor Sarun: Darc X landspeeder model, a Galactic League champion Kestar Bool banner, two pilot patches, a physical copy of the Digital Art Book, a custom slip cover, a steel case and the Deluxe Edition Upgrade.
What Galactic Racer is bringing back to Star Wars
Galactic Racer is leaning into a part of Star Wars games that has been mostly quiet for years: high-speed vehicle racing. The pitch is not just podracing, although podracers are part of the lineup. Players will also pilot landspeeders, speeder bikes and skim speeders, each with its own handling style and room for customization.

The official site lists Ando Prime, Tatooine, Lantaana, Sentinel I and Jakku among the planets shown for the game, while the Steam page frames the campaign around Shade, a lone racer chasing revenge and status in the Galactic League. Races will include shunting and takedowns, so this is being positioned closer to a combat-tinged arcade racer than a clean lap-time sim.
Multiplayer is part of the package too. The announcement lists support for 1 to 12 players, and pre-order bonuses include a platform-coloured livery for landspeeders, speeder bikes or skim speeders plus a player banner background for multiplayer modes.
Galactic Racer is the debut game from Fuse Games, with Secret Mode publishing. Its October date gives the Star Wars schedule another game to watch in 2026, especially for players who have been waiting for the franchise to revisit racing beyond modern re-releases of older podracing games.
