Capcom has locked in a release date for Resident Evil Requiem's two amiibo figures. The Grace and Leon amiibo for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Requiem will be available on July 30, giving collectors a dated follow-up to the figures that were previously tied to a broader summer window.

The date is now listed on Capcom's official Resident Evil Requiem products page, which says the amiibo pictured are still in development and that contents and design may change without notice. Each figure is priced at $29.99 in US retail listings, with preorders already live at some stores.

What the Requiem amiibo unlock

Scanning the Grace amiibo unlocks a special weapon skin for Grace's S&S M232, while the Leon amiibo unlocks a skin for the Requiem magnum. Those bonuses make the figures a small gameplay extra for Switch 2 players, though the bigger draw is likely the novelty of Resident Evil getting dedicated amiibo at all.

Requiem launched earlier this year across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2, but the amiibo support is specific to Nintendo's version. That makes the July 30 date more relevant to Switch 2 owners and Resident Evil collectors than to the wider player base.

The figures also arrive while Capcom is keeping the series busy. Resident Evil Requiem already has a story expansion announced, although one recent rumor suggested the DLC could arrive after Resident Evil Veronica. Capcom has confirmed Veronica for 2027, and the remake has since been framed as a third-person return to the Code: Veronica story.

The amiibo are a smaller post-launch beat than Requiem's planned story DLC, but they give Switch 2 owners a dated collectible release and two exclusive weapon skins to track on July 30.
