Capcom's newest big swing is already doing real business. Pragmata has sold more than 2.5 million copies worldwide since launching in April, according to Capcom's latest quarterly financial materials.
The same update puts Resident Evil Requiem above 8 million copies worldwide after its February release. That gives Capcom a strong one-two result from a brand-new IP and the latest mainline Resident Evil, while its older catalog continues to push the publisher's biggest franchises higher.
Capcom said Pragmata "performed well" during the quarter, helped by "robust promotional activities" that built a fanbase for the sci-fi action adventure before launch. The company also pointed to strong new and catalog game sales as a driver of year-on-year unit growth.
Resident Evil Requiem's 8 million figure keeps Capcom's horror series on a sharp upward line. Earlier this week, Resident Evil 4 remake sales estimates put it well ahead of other current-generation remakes, and Capcom's own report now lists Resident Evil at more than 213 million cumulative series sales worldwide.
The quarter also lifted several of Capcom's other headline franchises. Monster Hunter has passed 131 million cumulative sales, while Street Fighter has moved beyond 60 million.
Those lifetime totals show how much work Capcom's back catalog is still doing. Capcom's public series-sales page listed Resident Evil at 201 million, Monster Hunter at 127 million and Street Fighter at 59 million as of March 31, 2026. The new June-quarter figures show all three series moving again, with Resident Evil making the biggest jump.
The company framed the quarter as on track with its full-year forecast. Pragmata gives Capcom a successful new name to build on, while Resident Evil Requiem and steady catalog sales keep its established series at the center of the results.
