PlayStation has dated its next State of Play for Tuesday, June 2, setting up more than 60 minutes of updates, announcements and gameplay reveals from studios around the world.
The broadcast will open with Marvel's Wolverine, giving Insomniac Games' PS5 action-adventure a fresh spotlight ahead of its September 15 launch. According to the official announcement, the segment will show more of Logan's brutal combat and include new information about the studio's take on the Marvel character.
The show airs at 2:00pm PT, 5:00pm ET and 11:00pm CEST on June 2, with a 6:00am JST start on June 3. PlayStation says it will stream live on YouTube and Twitch in English, with Japanese subtitles also available.
Marvel's Wolverine is one of PlayStation's biggest first-party projects on the calendar. The game's official PlayStation page describes it as a single-player action-adventure from Insomniac Games, developed with Marvel Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment. It also lists PS5 and PS5 Pro support, with no PS4 version planned.
A full hour gives Sony room for several PS5 announcements beyond Wolverine, while the opener makes Insomniac's game the showcase's headline act.
Sony also included its usual co-streaming warning. The broadcast may contain copyrighted material, such as licensed music, that Sony Interactive Entertainment does not control. The company says creators planning VOD recaps or clips should consider omitting copyrighted music to avoid licensing issues.
