The Jackbox Party Pack 12 has finally named the five games inside this year's collection, turning the next annual pack from a broad promise into a clearer pitch for party-game groups. Jackbox Games is positioning the fall 2026 release around drawing, debating, fast team sorting, custom greeting cards and the usual test of whether your friends share your sense of humor.

The new PlayStation trailer confirms The Jackbox Party Pack 12 is coming to PS5 and PS4 this fall. Jackbox's official game page lists the five games as Idol Factions, We Forgot a Card, Debate and Switch, MegaPals and Hyperface, while the earlier Jackbox announcement also names PC through Steam and Epic Games Store, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, iPad and the Mac App Store as planned platforms.

PlayStation's reveal trailer introduces the five games in The Jackbox Party Pack 12.

The lineup sounds more varied than a simple trivia-and-jokes bundle. Idol Factions is a 2 to 8 player team game where players race to sort answers into the right categories, which gives the pack its most direct competitive format. We Forgot a Card asks 3 to 8 players to make ridiculous greeting cards for strange occasions, with Jackbox saying players will have the option to purchase them in real life.

Debate and Switch is the argument game in the box. It supports 2 to 8 players and centers on light topics, silly opinions and persuasion, which puts it closer to a social performance game than a quiz. MegaPals, for 3 to 8 players, is about matching how friends think through word prompts and pairings. Hyperface is the visual chaos entry, letting 3 to 8 players take selfies or use stock photos, then warp and draw on them to answer prompts.

That mix is important for Jackbox because the best Party Packs usually work as a menu, not a single repeated gag. One group may spend the night in a drawing game, another may want a yelling-over-the-couch team mode and another may only need something low-pressure enough for people who rarely play games. Party Pack 12 appears to cover those lanes without leaning entirely on trivia, though Jackbox has not announced a specific release date beyond fall 2026.

The Jackbox format remains the same core setup that made the series a living-room staple: one shared screen, with players joining through phones, tablets or computer browsers instead of extra controllers. The Steam page says audience members can also jump in to influence games, which matters for streams and larger gatherings where not everyone can take a main player slot.

Jackbox Games is developing and publishing The Jackbox Party Pack 12. The studio's official announcement said more information about the games would arrive after the initial reveal, and the latest trailer now gives players enough to judge which entries may become the regular rotation picks. The exact launch day, pricing and any platform-specific differences have not been confirmed.
