Sony has set the next PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup, and May's selection is led by EA Sports FC 26. In a PlayStation Blog post, Sony confirmed that EA Sports FC 26, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and Nine Sols will be available to PlayStation Plus members from Tuesday, May 5.

The lineup is available to all PlayStation Plus members, not just Extra or Premium subscribers. It gives May a mix of big sports, Soulslike action and 2D action-platforming, with PS5 and PS4 support varying by game.

EA Sports FC 26 is the broadest play here. The football game will be available on both PS5 and PS4, with Sony highlighting its overhauled gameplay, Authentic Gameplay and Competitive Gameplay presets, Football Ultimate Team tournaments, Live Events and refreshed Rivals and Champs experience. The listing also cites more than 20,000 players, over 750 clubs and national teams, more than 120 stadiums and 35-plus leagues.

PlayStation Plus members will also get an EA Sports FC 26 PlayStation Plus Icons Pack during the game's Monthly Games residency. Sony says the add-on can be redeemed through its PlayStation Store product page, with the content then appearing in-game.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is the PS5-only pick in May's trio. The action RPG follows Wuchang, a pirate warrior who wakes in the final years of China's Ming Dynasty with no memory of her past, as the land of Shu is being twisted by a phenomenon called Feathering. The game leans into Soulslike combat, interconnected exploration, weapon variety and skills harvested from defeated enemies. Wuchang has also been in the news beyond the subscription lineup, including Digital Bros buying the Wuchang: Fallen Feathers IP rights.

Nine Sols rounds out the month on PS5 and PS4. Sony describes it as a hand-drawn 2D action-platformer with Sekiro-inspired deflection-based combat, following a vengeful hero hunting the nine rulers of its abandoned realm.

Members still have a little time to claim April's Monthly Games before the switch happens. Lords of the Fallen, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream remain available to add to a PlayStation Plus library until Monday, May 4. Sony notes that the Monthly Games lineup can differ by region, so players should check PlayStation Store on release day for local availability.
