John Rambo may be the next action icon headed for Fortnite, according to a new leak that claims Epic Games is preparing a crossover bundle based on the long-running film series.

Epic has not announced a Rambo collaboration, so the claim should be treated as unconfirmed. The leak comes from Fortnite leakers Wenso and DrCacahuette, with Wenso claiming on X that the crossover would include several Item Shop cosmetics rather than a single skin.

The reported bundle includes an outfit with three styles, one of them shirtless, plus an Explosive Tips Quiver back bling, a Survivalist Knife pickaxe, a helicopter glider, a Knife Prop emote and a themed wrap. No release date has been shared.

If accurate, Rambo would fit Fortnite's current pattern of treating the Item Shop as a rotating pop-culture crossover stage. Recent and reported collaborations have pulled from games, movies, anime, musicians and TV, while Fortnite's Overwatch crossover showed again how quickly Epic can fold outside characters into its own cosmetics lineup.

Rambo would also be a slightly older-school choice than many of Fortnite's modern brand tie-ins. The character began with the 1972 novel First Blood, then became best known through Sylvester Stallone's film run from 1982 through 2019. He has crossed into games before, including as a Call of Duty DLC skin and as a guest fighter in Mortal Kombat 11.

The appeal for Fortnite players is straightforward: a Rambo collab would not change the battle royale's rules, but it would add another recognizable movie character to a game where identity and character collecting are a major part of the loop. The rumored pickaxe, quiver and helicopter glider would translate the character's survival-action imagery into Fortnite's cosmetic language without touching match balance.

Until Epic confirms the collaboration, Rambo remains a leak, not a scheduled Item Shop release. The missing date is the key detail to watch next, especially if the crossover is meant to line up with a future Rambo push outside the game.
