FromSoftware still has two Nintendo Switch 2 releases pencilled in for 2026, at least according to parent company KADOKAWA's latest financial report.

The report lists both The Duskbloods and Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition as 2026 titles for Nintendo's new console. Neither game has a firm date yet, so the update does not narrow the calendar beyond confirming that both are still positioned for release before the end of the year.

That small timing note carries more weight for The Duskbloods, which has been quiet since its Nintendo Switch 2 reveal. The game is a new FromSoftware multiplayer action title, published by Nintendo and built exclusively for Switch 2. Nintendo's own game page still describes it as a 2026 release.

Director Hidetaka Miyazaki previously described The Duskbloods as a PvPvE game with online multiplayer at its core. Matches support up to eight players, with the Bloodsworn fighting each other and enemy threats while chasing First Blood. In a Nintendo Creator's Voice interview, Miyazaki said the game started as a smaller Switch project before FromSoftware shifted development around Switch 2 hardware, which helped the team focus on the online side of the idea.

Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition is the other half of KADOKAWA's Switch 2 slate. The port was originally expected in 2025, but FromSoftware later moved it to 2026 to allow more time for performance adjustments. Nintendo's current listing says the Switch 2 version includes the base game, Shadow of the Erdtree, new weapons, armour, Torrent skins and more.

The lack of a date leaves plenty unresolved. The Duskbloods is one of Switch 2's more unusual exclusives, partly because FromSoftware is best known for games that are either multiplatform or tied to PlayStation history, while Elden Ring's Switch 2 edition has to answer the performance questions that followed earlier reports about the port.

Both games are now sitting in the same broad window, and Summer Game Fest begins soon, with its Opening Showcase scheduled for June 5 at 9pm UK time. If either release is close enough to get a date, that is the next obvious place to watch.
