DC Universe Online is sending Supergirl to the front of its next storyline. Children of Krypton: Shadows Over Argo launches in June 2026 on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, starting a new multi-chapter arc centered on Kara Zor-El's hunt for Kryb.

The chapter follows the end of Light and Rain, DCUO's previous four-part story arc, where players uncovered Kryb as a new threat. In the official announcement, creative director Al Rivera said Supergirl will pick up where Guy Gardner left off, with her own Lantern Corps history helping drive the chase back to Earth.

Kryb's trail leads to Argo City, which is now resting at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. That location pulls Atlantis into the story, so Aquaman's corner of the DC universe will be part of the arc alongside several Atlantean heroes and other unrevealed characters.

Rivera said the team wanted this to be a Supergirl story at its core, with Kryptonian lore and characters playing a major role. The timing also lines up with Supergirl's broader return to the spotlight in DC media, including the upcoming film inspired by Woman of Tomorrow, though DCUO's arc is its own game storyline.

For Xbox players, DC Universe Online remains a free-to-play MMO set across the DC Comics universe. Its Xbox Store listing describes the game as an action MMO where players create heroes or villains and fight alongside characters such as Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Lex Luthor and Circe.

Children of Krypton: Shadows Over Argo does not have a specific June date yet. The announcement only confirms the release month and Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S availability for now.
