Palworld 1.0 now has a launch window players can plan around. Pocketpair says in an official Palworld post that the full-release update is planned for around 12:30pm JST on July 10, though the studio is not treating that as an exact minute-by-minute release time.
That puts the expected rollout at roughly 8:30pm PT and 11:30pm ET on July 9 in North America, or 4:30am BST on July 10 in the UK and Ireland. In Central Europe, it should be around 5:30am CEST.
The release window gives returning players a firmer plan for the jump to Palworld 1.0 on July 10. The update moves Pocketpair's survival crafting hit out of Early Access, opens the long-teased World Tree push and follows weeks of developer comments about broad 1.0 changes.
Existing saves can continue into Palworld 1.0
Players do not need to wipe their worlds before jumping into 1.0. Pocketpair previously said in an official Palworld post that existing save data can continue because the studio wants to respect the time players have already put into their worlds.
Pocketpair still recommends a fresh character. The studio said the update includes enough mechanical changes and new content that starting again should give players the best version of the full-launch experience.
That advice lines up with how the studio has described the update so far. Palworld 1.0's patch notes have already been described as 27 pages long, while previously confirmed additions include story changes, new locations, raid mechanic changes, new base-building shapes and items, Wildlife Sanctuary changes and reworked Tower Bosses.
Returning players also have more options than simply keeping an old world or abandoning it. Pocketpair has already said old files will survive, and our previous coverage of the Palworld 1.0 save decision noted that systems such as the Global Palbox can soften the choice for players who want to keep favorite Pals while still trying the new progression.
The full launch is a restart point, even without a forced reset
Palworld has been playable since January 2024, but version 1.0 is the point where many lapsed players will decide whether to return. A late-night North American launch and early-morning European rollout gives co-op groups a clear time to coordinate servers, worlds and fresh characters.
The update also lands while Palworld remains tied to the ongoing Nintendo and The Pokémon Company patent lawsuit, a legal fight that has already pushed Pocketpair to change some mechanics in past versions. None of that changes the July 10 plan, but it is part of the background around Palworld's full launch.
Palworld is available on PC, Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Version 1.0 is currently planned to go live around 12:30pm JST on July 10, with Pocketpair leaving room for the timing to move slightly.
