Battlefield 6's latest Season 3 update has landed in rough shape. Update 1.3.2.0 added the Cairo Bazaar map, brought back Obliteration and introduced the PP-19 SMG, but Battlefield Studios is now chasing a spread of bugs that has already forced Strikepoint out of rotation.

The update arrived on June 9 as the mid-season beat for Season 3, following the broader Season 3 roadmap and a major set of vehicle-focused patch notes. According to EA's own Update 1.3.2.0 notes, it was meant to pair new content with fixes across weapons, gadgets, vehicles, Battle Royale, Portal, UI, audio and general gameplay polish.

That is not how the first week has played out. The most severe issue is Strikepoint, where players reported that round logic was awarding wins incorrectly after the Blastpoint update. One EA Forums bug report says objective capture progress could override elimination outcomes, even when a team only touched the point briefly before being wiped. Battlefield Studios has since disabled Strikepoint while it investigates.

Other problems are hitting basic match flow and progression. Battlefield Studios has acknowledged a deployment-screen cursor bug and a Custom Search issue with Cairo Bazaar Breakthrough while in a squad, both of which make it harder to get into the match setup players actually want. The PP-19 also launched with a Bonus Path unlock problem, although the studio pushed a fix the following day.

Several remaining bugs are stranger but still disruptive. Reports include players being unable to quit out of matches without restarting the game, in-game package install options failing or breaking the client, the firing range settings menu flashing to a black screen and the Laser Designator losing its HUD when used normally. Battlefield Studios has also said it is still working on Redsec lighting problems after an initial change failed to fully solve the issue.

The XP Booster wording is another awkward one. The latest update changed the booster description to suggest timers now count down using in-game time, but boosters still appear to tick down in real-world time. Battlefield Studios has acknowledged that issue and says a fix is planned for a future update.

The patch still has plenty of intended additions, including Cairo Bazaar, Obliteration, the Handheld Jammer, Battle Royale Solos changes and a free trial that ran from June 9 to June 15. The problem is that a patch designed to strengthen Season 3 has also made parts of Battlefield 6 feel unstable, with Strikepoint unavailable until the mode logic is fixed.
